Community Garden Partnership with the Social Resource Centre
In 2010, through collaboration with The Stop Community Food Centre and Fairbank United Church, the Canadian Mental Health Association's
Social Resource Center started its own community garden.
We are now approaching the start of our 4th growing season. Through the donation of a backyard garden space on the church's property, along with a picnic table donated by Fairbank United Church, participants have enjoyed access to an outdoor garden space, eating fresh foods and spending time with others as they enjoy the renewing experience of nurturing their garden.
